Caminka Art is based in Blayney, Central West of NSW and has exhibited all over Australia. Nyree (Ngarie) Reynolds, the resident artist, is a descendant of the Gamilaraay people of the North West of New South Wales and has been painting all her life.
Nyree's paintings have been sold all over Australia and overseas, including private collections in England, USA, Hong Kong, Switzerland and Germany.
Nyree's painting in the National "Drawing Together" Art Awards in Canberra in 2007 was a finalist and was purchased by the Department of the Environment and Water Resources.
Raising awareness on the 'Stolen Generations' is the theme for Nyree's controversial and political art exhibition titled "Identity" to be staged in regional Australia at Jayes Gallery in Molong NSW starting March 6th.
